My name is Rachel and I am a freshman at LSU. August 11, 2011 marks the start of my life in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I have a blank slate here. My best friend is back in Atlanta at Georgia Tech. My high school boyfriend and I have broken up. Most of my friends are going to school at UGA or other schools closer to home… And here I am. Completely submerged into the unknown. I am 9 hours from home and basically only know my roommate. While I am unbelievably nervous I’m also so excited to start this new chapter. I got the idea to do this a while back when I stumbled upon a similar picture-a-day blog. I am going to take and post a picture everyday to document my journey and my first year of college. For some pictures I may add captions, stories, descriptions, or just post a picture alone. This will mainly be a way for me to journal, but also to update whomever it may concern…
